You don't have that much to offer society any more, do you?

Actually, before we go on, is this type big enough? Your eyes probably aren't what they used to be now you're getting over the hill. (We'll try and keep this simple too. Nice short sentences. So. You. Understand).

Oh yeah, we were talking about how you're past it.

Chin up though, you may be a wrinkly, but it's not all doom and gloom. You can still enjoy a wee walk. Or a nice bus tour. You can watch "Last of the Summer Wine" on TV. Or read "The People's Friend". Your life's not over. Yet.

But we should stop wittering on. You must be getting tired. Why don't you toddle off to bed for a nice nap. Let the younger people get on with things.

Oh, before you go, it's annoying when people treat you differently because of your age isn't it. That's what happens to people when they get past sixty, even though they feel as young as they ever did.

But you would never behave like that, would you., You're old enough to know better. You can -
